Men’s Ministries
- Power Cells: Men of the church are encouraged to belong to a small group (2-4 men) to enhance accountability and spiritual growth.
- Men’s Conference: Each year in January, WOBC hosts a men’s conference complete with a challenging speaker and great food.
- Sunday School: There are two options for men during the Sunday School hour: a class specifically for men and the Berean Class which includes both men and women.
- Wednesday Nights: Every Wednesday at 6:15 p.m. there are two options for adults: a Bible Study and WIPS (Warriors in Prayer Service – a meeting based specifically around prayer).
- Special Events: Periodically there are special events for men (i.e. a barbeque, Iron Sharpens Iron, Letters From Dad, an overnight camping trip)
New Commandment Men’s Ministry: The third Saturday of every month men of the church meet at the McDonalds on Chestnut Street at 7:00 a.m. After a short devotional, they leave in their assigned groups for the home of a single mom, widow, or other person who has a need. The group might paint or do fix-it jobs. This is a great way to live the love of God! If you are interested in being involved, please contact the church.

Missions
Short-term Mission’s Trips
WOBC periodically plans short -term trips. In the past we have gone to a camp in Canada, a school for the deaf in Jamaica, a school for Hopi children in Arizona, and we have helped with hurricane relief in both Louisiana and Haiti.
Monthly Missions Focus
Every month WOBC has a different missions emphasis. Contact the church for information about this month’s focus.
